A SUSSEX BAROMETER
A fine Georgian mahogany mercury tube wheel barometer with beautiful conche shell and intricate  flower inlays with architectural top and brass finial. The case is edged with boxwood stringing. The 8” silvered dial is signed F.Cometti, Lewes with blue steel indicator hand. The concave section
brass bezel is glazed with brass set hand and knob. There is a 10” spirit thermometer with silvered Fahrenheit scale. F. Cometti was a clock, watch and instrument maker working in Lewes in the early 19th century.

GEORGE III MAHOGANY BAROMETER
A mercury tube wheel barometer with 7.5" silvered dial, blued steel indicator and brass set hand within a brass bezel with a convex glass. Also with a 10" spirit Fahrenheit thermometer with a silvered scale plate in an arched glazed box. The fine waisted mahogany case has a swan neck cresting and oval banded floral inlays, the whole caseis outlined with ebony and boxwood stringing.There is a turned mahogany set hand. Height 97cms. Circa 1800

ROSEWOOD BAROMETER
 A rosewood wheel barometer with mercury tube. the case has a rounded top with simulated Tunbridge ware decoration in a floral design. The 9" silvered barometer dial has a blued steel indicator and brass set hand under the brass bezel with a convex glass. The 9" spirit thermometer has a silvered
Fahrenheit scale. There are further Tunbridge patterns above and below the barometer bezel and there is a set knob of turned hardwood. Circa 19th century.

WHEEL BAROMETER
A mahogany wheel barometer with boxwood and ebony lines to edges and swan neck pediment.  The mercury tube barometer has 8" silvered dial in brass bezel.  Also fitted with hygrometer, spirit thermometer, convex mirror, set knob and level dial engraved E. Fontana, High Wycombe.

STICK BAROMETER
A cistern tube barometer in a fine rosewood case with turned cistern cover and fixed glass case covering the ivory register plates with rack and pinion vernier gauge and ivory set knob.  The register plates are singed Scewearer and Kaiser, Park Terrace, Regents Park. The mercury thermometer has Fahrenheit & Reaumor scales.  The ivory set knob is also used to set the adjusting screw under the cistern.  Circa 1850.

REGENCY MAHOGANY BAROMETER
A regency mahogany barometer with broken pediment top with finial on the front with sunflower and conch shell inlays and boxwood and ebony stringing on the edges.  8" silvered barometer dial with engraved makers name A. Faccini, Bedford.  With blue steel pointer, heavy concave section brass bezel with convex glass and brass set hand.  The 12" spirit thermometer above has silvered Fahrenheit scale plate in round top box.  A. Faccini was working in Bedford from 1810-1830
