A late 19th/early 20th Century Continental gilt metal singing bird box in the form of a cabinet on stand, cast in relief with putti, bellflowers, musical instruments, scrolls, fruit and festoons, the top fitted with an oval hinged compartment revealing the singing bird on a pierced gilt grill, above a single frieze drawer, on cabriole legs, width approx 11.5cm.
