SKELETON TIMEPIECE
A compact A frame with a line driven single fusee movement with anchor escapement There is an annular silvered dial with Roman numerals and fretted quarter points. The spade hands are blued steel. The clock stands on a polished mahogany base in which is set the holdfast screw. The movement is protected by the squared glass dome and the clock stands on four brass
caddy feet. 19th century.
