 A MAHOGANY WALL CLOCK

An excellent dial timepiece in a well patinated mahogany surround, the overall diameter is 14.5” The mahogany box has a side door and trap door in the curved base. The painted dial has very clear Roman numerals and is signed D. Roberts – Bath. The blued steel spade hands ensure the time is easily read from a distance. The well made movement has four turned pillars and a chain driven fusee. There is a recoil anchor escapement.  c. 1880
