          Selling Antique Clocks

There are two main avenues for selling clocks, at auction or to a dealer. You may also consider advertising locally. The preferred way is by auction as your clock will be seen by many dealers and private buyers and you will normally achieve the market price and sometimes more than you think. Don't forget that you will have to pay the auction house fees. To be on the safe side put a reserve on the clock you are selling to prevent it being sold too cheaply on a bad day. If selling directly to a dealer it is worth getting more than one quote, of course if you are offered a fair price by a dealer there will be no deduction of auction fees and you will get your money immediately.
